Our Work Speaks Volumes

Over the years, we've been lucky enough to work on some pretty incredible projects. Each one taught us something new about how people actually live and work in spaces. From cozy family homes to bold commercial ventures, here's what we've been up to lately.

Honestly, this one was a dream. The clients wanted something that felt like it grew right out of the mountainside. We used local timber, passive solar design, and a whole lot of glass to bring the outdoors in. It's got a 90% energy efficiency rating which still blows my mind.

Commercial

Harbourfront Tech Hub

This 8-story tech office was all about flexibility. Open floors, modular workspaces, and killer views of the harbour. The challenge? Making it feel warm despite all that steel and glass. Turns out wood accents and living green walls do wonders.

Gastown Heritage Building

Talk about pressure. This 1904 building needed serious love but we couldn't touch the facade. We basically rebuilt everything behind those gorgeous brick walls - modern systems, seismic upgrades, the works. Took three years but it's standing strong now.

Shaughnessy Modern Classic

Shaughnessy Modern Classic

The family had five kids and wanted space that didn't feel like chaos. We played with split levels, created these cozy nooks everywhere, and somehow made 4,200 sq ft feel intimate. The kitchen island became the real heart of the home.

This project was nuts in the best way. Net-zero energy, rainwater harvesting, green roofs, the whole nine yards. We even installed a living wall that filters the air. It's become a bit of a field trip destination for architecture students now.

Waterfront Bistro

Small space, big ambitions. The owner wanted 65 seats in 1,800 sq ft without feeling cramped. We used mirrors, vertical gardens, and custom banquettes. Now there's a 3-week waitlist and they're talking about expansion.

Building on the coast comes with its own headaches - salt air, wind, storms. We designed this place to take a beating while looking effortless. Steel frame, fiber cement siding, and hurricane-rated windows. It's basically a fortress that feels like a vacation.

Yaletown Warehouse Conversion

Yaletown Warehouse Conversion

Former loading warehouse turned mixed-use space. We kept the original timber beams, exposed brick, and industrial vibe. Added retail on ground level, offices above. The developer thought we were crazy keeping those old beams but they're everyone's favorite feature now.

Fraser Street Townhomes

Fraser Street Townhomes

Six units on a narrow lot seemed impossible until we started playing with vertical space. Each townhome's got three levels, private rooftop patios, and we stacked the garages smart. People said it couldn't be done at this price point. Well, they sold out in two weeks.

Public buildings should be inviting, right? We designed this library and learning space with tons of natural light, flexible rooms, and quiet study pods. The geothermal heating system saves them like $30k a year in energy costs. Tax dollars well spent if you ask me.

28 rooms, each one different. The owner wanted personality, not cookie-cutter. We mixed vintage Vancouver vibes with modern comfort - custom headboards, local art, rainfall showers. Their Instagram basically markets itself now.

Whistler Mountain Retreat
Residential

Whistler Mountain Retreat

Ski-in, ski-out property with serious snow load requirements. We went with a sharp-pitched roof, radiant floor heating, and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the slopes. The hot tub situation on that deck is something else entirely. Pure alpine luxury without the guilt.
